I am returning you the attached papers relative to the letter from Mr. Henry F. Baker with the request that you kindly take up with the Public Printer the question of their office using the lower case "n" in the statement prepared by you for the Secretary on the subject of "Negroes in the United States" so he can have all the facts before him in answering Mr. Bakers letter.
