Dearest Trudie
We are all greatly enjoying our visit here. The party consists of—Adolphus Andrews, Harry Covington, Harrison Nesbit, Mark Sullivan and his son Mark. Bernie is a wonderful host. BM Jr is spending the winter here. His health is poor. None of the senators came—all dropped out at the end of the week because of the happenings in Congress in the Tea Pot Dome case. Adolphus says it is the best hunting trip of his life. Yesterday we both killed the limit of ducks and I was lucky enough to kill a wild turkey. We get up every morning at 5.30—go duck shooting—return for lunch about one and then go turkey hunting in the afternoon. The weather is ideal. The outing is doing me lots of good. Delighted to receive your letter from Ridgeland to-day and to know your visit was so enjoyable. Harry Covington is returning this afternoon, I am sending this by him to be mailed in Washington, also requesting him to call you over the phone to-morrow, saying everything is all right with me etc.
I miss you and the boys and I love you all more than this pen can tell.
