“Hurrah for My Own!”
Randolph & I have been so happy over her victory—and wanted to send you a telegram but did not know your Saratoga address—so we waited to send our congratulations—and assure you both, of our share in your success—
I have wanted tso to hear how you both are—particularly the Dr. but feel I must let you rest—but I don’t think a day has passed that I have not had you in my thoughts with the wish that all goes well—
We have had a lovely restful visit here and move on towards Maine next Tuesday—stopping at Magnolia for a day and night with Mrs. Warren—Trudie “Garry & Rip Converse” are at Marion and have sent word they want to come over—but as yet they have not appeared—I have declined all invitations and gone no where—except to the Cranes at Woods Hole—Mr. Crane came for us in Richard’s “Chaser” and we had a long trip of an hour on the water—then had lunch there—walked ’round the place—saw the Houstons the Richard Cranes’ [she said lovely things about you, Trudie,] Mrs. Bradley & children—Mrs Luth & fam—then came home—Mr. Crane is coming here for lunch tomorrow—
Today Mr. Hamlin & Randolph have started out on a Steam Launch for a days fishing
R. has had only one neuralgia attack since we came came and looks much better—He asked me to send his love and congratulations—Love to “Zuna” & a big hug for the boys—from—
