My dear Dr
I only heard yesterday from Altrude that “My Own” had come into her own! And I must tell you how glad I am—and send my hearty congratulations—Altrude phoned me yesterday—and sounded so bright and happy The Hamlins have asked her to come over and she has promised to come Tuesday—I am looking forward with such pleasure to seeing her.
Randolph has written wme of all you are doing and I am so grateful. But for R. and you I could not have come—and I just can’t tell you how this little rest is helping me—I just did not know how tired I was—I do hope things will go well and not give you too much trouble
From a very full heart I am—
EBW
