Dearest Trudie
I think that I can be with you all Saturday morning. Mrs. Wilson cannot go away this week end, so I am now counting on leaving on the Federal to-morrow night arriving Kingston Saturday morning. Don’t you bother to get up so a early to meet me, just have a car to meet me. I am returning from Kingston Sunday night.
The enclosed card from Mrs Eustis, brings back memories of days in France.
Foxhall Daingerfield was in to see me to-day. He said to tell you that Mrs. BBJ has three wigs, golden brown, each a different shade—none of them quite fitting. She is planning to have her second double chin removed, leaving one a half chin—also, in the early autumn her face is to be lifted. Fox says this is absolutely true and that he needs your moral and physical support to help remove said wigs, as they have aged Mrs. J. fifteen years.
Mr. McAdoo sends his best love to you and the boys.
I had a telephone message from Jesse Jones in New York but could not hear very well. Remind me to tell you of a joke Miss Edith played on me yesterday—She is much better.
I am happy over the prospect of seeing you and the boys Saturday. In the meanwhile, my heartfull of love for you blessed darlings—
