Dearest Trudie
In a separate envelope I am enclosing check and Martin’s account of Hopeful Stable. Why not just send Martin a check for his bill etc for keep of Vultilla and settle the rest with Mrs. Barklie and Martin when you get to Saratoga.
I had a nice visit with Mr McAdoo last night. To-day, he is lunching with the Wilsons. Dr Axson and I, are, also, to be there.
I had a caller to-day—a handsome young fellow—named Thomas J. Grayson of Mississippi. I liked him immensely. His family came from Virginia. Tell Zoona he was so good looking, he must have Cable blood in his veins.
