Mr. President:
The National Board of Farm Organizations has just concluded a three days’ session in the City of Washington, where farmers of the nation were called together for the purpose of making wise and constructive plans for increasing food production in 1919.
This organization is composed of a majority of the great national farm organizations of this country with a membership of approximately three million farmers.
At the conclusion of the meeting which was attended by several hundred delegates, representing numerous affiliated organizations, a resolution was unanimously passed to give to you as Chief Executive our solemn pledge that we will bend our every effort to help win the War, praying always that God in His wisdom will strengthen and guide you in the struggle to maintain the principles of Democracy.
Respectfully yours,
