My dear Mott:
I took the matter of your letter of August 24th up with the Secretary of War, and he has written me that Col. Churchill, the Head of the Army Intelligence, will press the matter of the passports of the YMCA men awaiting passage as rapidly as possible, in order to expedite the departure of those who are straining at the leash.
Cordially and faithfully yours,
[Woodrow Wilson]
Dr. John R. Mott,
