Dear Mr. President:
I have a weekly summary made for me which I have directed to be duplicated for you. It deals with materiel questions. I shall be happy to send your copy weekly, with the understanding that when you haven’t time to glance at it the next week will bring your information up to date. Please do not acknowledge or return such papers, but throw them in the waste-basket when you have no further use for them.
Respectfully yours,
