Text
My dear Admiral Grayson
After writing to you yesterday, I was very sorry to find, upon returning home, that Mrs. McAdams had made a dinner engagement for next Tuesday, which makes it impossible for me to attend the Alfalfa Club meeting.
I sincerely regret this, as I had anticipated the meeting with a great deal of pleasure.
Sincerely yours,
Thomas McAdams
