Text

My dear Colonel:

I am delighted to have a letter from you and to know that everything is all right with you and that you are now back whiffing the breezes of the Great Lakes. It must be a great contrast to the mud of France.

Don’t forget to tell the boys how we did the trick over here! You left too soon. They are handing out medals over here now to every one. It is almost as easy to get a medal as it is a dog tag. I wish you and Colonel Harris were here. I could givey you some data on this subject that would give you both something most interesting to talk about.Allan is well and getting along fine.

I have no idea when I am going to get home, but when I do I hope I will have the pleasure of seeing something of you. With best wishes,

Sincerely yours,
Cary T. Grayson

Colonel Angus McLean,
