My dear President
Just a line to thank you for the “perfectly bully” way in which you put out the appointment of the Red Cross War Council, and to let you know how keenly we all appreciate what you have done.
My dear President
Just a line to thank you for the “perfectly bully” way in which you put out the appointment of the Red Cross War Council, and to let you know how keenly we all appreciate what you have done.
As the terrible needs on the other side become more apparent, the serious question arises, whether they can be met entirely by the voluntary gifts of the American people & it may be that the Red Cross may be compelled to ask for the assistance of the Government.
We are having high old jinks in New York these days, and the enthusiasm of the people is most thrilling. I am just leaving the office to meet the Englishman.
Trusting that you may soon be able to get a little rest with warm regards to you all
Yours affectionately
To President Wilson
