Dear Sir:

I accept your views as to the inadvisability of directly and personally opposing Frank Hague, but do you not think it might be wise for you to write a letter to someone, say John J. Treacy, expressing the hope that the Progressive citizens of Jersey City, in the coming election, will vote to retain control of their own government and not to make themselves a satrapy, subject to the Essex bosses?
