Text
My dear Page:
It distresses us all that you should have come home ill, and we shall wait patiently for your recovery in order that we may tell you how glad we are to have you safe on this side and how we have valued your services in your difficult post in London.
Do not distress yourself about any delay in reporting to me in person. I am in touch with your son, and there is nothing that you need feel there is haste about. Only take care of yourself and get well.
Cordially and sincerely yours,
[Woodrow Wilson]
Hon. Walter H. Page,
St. Luke’s Hospital,
New York, NY
