Dear Bernie
I am writing you because I have not seen you since you testified before the Munitions Committee of the Senate on “Taking the Profits Out of War.”
I want you to know how delighted I am that you gave the members of that Committee and the people of the country the benefit of your vast experience in the World War and of your subsequent studies anxd research.
You have unselfishly devoted your rare abilities to helping the Country in various ways. Throughout the many years I have known you I have grown increasingly proud of our friendship and of you, as a great American.
Faithfully yours,
CARY T. GRAYSON
