My dear Dr. Crain:
I want to thank you warmly for your letter of October 1st and for your valued suggestion. I have read all that you say with the greatest care. While it is not feasible for the President to leave Washington at this time, I shall be glad to keep in mind the matter to which you refer. I know the President will be touched by your thoughtfulness.
Sincerely yours,
Cary T. Grayson
