My dear Admiral Grayson
Your letter of March 19th is at hand. The check which I sent you in April, 1923, was to cover the cost of a photograph of President Wilson, which I was trying to get for a school publication in Virginia. I did not want you to pay for the photograph out of your own monies. As I recall, we did not get the photograph; but, if you did, and are out anything, I want to pay it, of course.
Your information about the fiddle is very satisfactory. I would like so much to get that instrument. I recall very well that Tumulty took it, and wrote a nice letter to the manufacturers here about it. At convenient times, make inquiries, and keep it in mind, for I am very anxious to get that fiddle. It would be one of my treasured possessions.
With best wishes to you, and kindest regards to Mrs. Grayson and the two boys, I am,
Sincerely yours,
WE Chilton
