My dear Cary
We were sorry to have seen so little of you at the game and to have had so little opportunity to thank you for getting us those wonderful seats. They couldn’t have been better & it was most interesting to be so near the president’s box!—Mother and Father were so disappointed to have missed the game & you may be sure I gave a detailed account of everything.
Auntie Earl, Earlena & Frankie had lunch with us in town yesterday—and that was our only visit with Auntie—It was thro’ her that I learned your address—I have wanted to write & thank you for your kindness in sending us the tickets but did not know where to reach you.
Hardly a day passes that we do not read about you in the papers but I can hardly realize that this important personage is the Cary that I used to know!—I am sure that I would stand in great awe of you now. When you are in New York again do try to come out for you have never seen the new house or my babies—Have you?
Again thanking you for thinking of us and with very good wish—
Always sincerely—
Babbie
