Text
Dear Cary
We will be in Great Britain until about the eighth of May. If the treaty is to be signed before that time or even a few days after my wife and I would love to come to Paris that day to see the historic action if it could be arranged. Will you be good enough to bear this in mind and communicate with me at London through Admiral Knapp.
My wife joins me in warm regards,
Always with affection & esteem,
Your sincere friend
