Dearest Altrude

I shall feel my youth renewed when I wear the lovely blue dream-robe and am sure the dreams will be of you and the many happy years we have been together.

Thank you for your dear thought—I do hope you all had a happy Christmas and that 1948 will be full of blessings—As usual I had all the family to dinner and later the grand opening of my lovely gifts—Mrs. Sands came to lunch yesterday, but she is always so hurried I hardly saw her—She had asked 2 other people to meet her here on business and thus she was off—I wanted to ask her if you were at the Farm but never could get her attention—Was so glad to see Gordon at Foxcroft several weeks ago—My love to him and your other 3 boys and a heart full to you from
