Am patiently awaiting reply to my telegram of yesterday asking that eighty members United Mine Workers of America deported from Gallup New Mexico be returned to their homes immediately; these men were not members Industrial Workers of World but instead United Mine Workers affiliated with American Federation of Labor. Our union will not permit without protest and action such outrages perpetrated on any of its membership. Ask immediate reply to inquiry will Federal Government provide for return these deported members United Mine Workers to their homes immediately unless prompt and satisfactory action is immediately taken will urge calling members international executive board United Mine Workers by telegraph and will favor calling strike United Miners workers throughout America not later than next week until this ourtage is righted. May I have answer immediately.
