My dear McCormick

Here is a letter from Thomas Nelson Page, our Ambassador at Rome, which I am sure you will read with interest. I know from independent sources that the situation in Italy with regard to the attitude of the people in general is a very critical one and I hope that you may be able to bring the various agencies together which can and will supply these pressing needs in Italy, at any rate in some considerable part.

Will you not be kind enough to return Mr. Page's letter after you have read it?

Cordially and sincerely yours,
Woodrow Wilson
