Text
My dear Mr. Sayre
Ever since writing to you I have been under the impression that I ought to make an effort to meet your wishes and preach again in the College.
Ever since writing to you I have been under the impression that I ought to make an effort to meet your wishes and preach again in the College.
If November 4th is open, I should be glad to take that date. If not, I would prefer to have it pushed forward as far as possible in order that I can be in Williamstown when Mr. George A. Cluett and his family are there. If such an arrangement is not possible, I will try to fit in a date convenient to you.
I suppose it is in order to congratulate you and everyone related in any way to President Wilson upon his magnificent State Paper. It quickened my pulse, indeed it stirred me to the very depth of my being. I should be prefectly willing to have if bound up with the best portions of the Old Testament prophets.
With best regards,
