Text

My dear Senator:

Your letter of April fourteenth gives me a great deal of pleasure and reassurance. There is a great deal of difference of opinion apparently about the advisability of applying the principle of universal liability to service, and it heartens me to have you come so heartily to my support in the matter.

Cordially and sincerely yours,
Woodrow Wilson

Hon. H. L. Myers,
United States Senate.
