Text

President's RoomJust a line, dear Jessie, to let you know that your mother is wonderfully better, is not only up, but came down to dinner this evening. The cold was as brief as it was violent. Sunday it was really dreadful, but she yielded to treatment immediately. She was better Monday and has steadily improved—will be well in a few days.
With best love

Yours always affectionately
Uncle Stock
