Thank you for your kind letter of the 30th ultimo. The meeting last Friday night was wonderfully inspiring, and I am glad to know that it has been as helpful as you describe.
I want to congratulate you heartily on the excellent sppech you made and upon the dignity and ease with which you discharged the responsible duties of presiding officer.
