Text

Dear Mr. Tumulty

I send you herewith the note prepared by Mr. Wadsworth and myself, as agreed with you this morning.

We should indeed be obliged if you could bring the matter to the President’s early attention.

It seems to us desirable to allow no time to elapse if a real success is to be made of this effort, as otherwise we should be confronted with a great diseintegration in the philanthropic sentiment of the country.

Yours faithfully,
Hoover

JP Tumulty, Esq.
