My dearHiram Woods"> Hiram:
Woodrow Wilson
Mr. Hiram Woods,
XXXX, XXXX
Your letter of the twelfth gave me a great deal of pleasure. The sketch you send of the Graduate College is truly characteristic of the people who have been promoting this thing in which university ideals have been so perverted and distorted.
I cannot tell you what it means to me that my old chums are so generous in their friendship and support, and you may be sure that I will convey to Jessie your generous congratulations.
