Text

My dear Mr. Speaker

May I not drop you this line of sincere congratulation on your renomination to the Speakership? It is what every Democrat desired, and I think the country and the House as well as yourself are to be warmly congratulated. It gives me great pleasure to look forward to my intimate association with you.
I wish I might have been at the Missouri dinner last night.

Cordially and sincerely yours,
Woodrow Wilson

Mr. Champ Clark,
Washington, DC
