My dear Wilson.
Your loyalty to ’79 was never better attested than when at the close of the great day of your life you gave us such a delightful half hour. On behalf of the class, and of the committee and personally I wish to thank you for your gracious act. We all knew what a strenuous day you had, and not a word would have been said had you felt unable to meet with us. Nothing in all your career has endeared you to us more than this fine expression of devotion to all that the class holds dear. Let me assure you that we will do our best to aid you in the great tasks which lie before you
