My dear Mr. President:
I think I ought to send this letter to General Pershing, and a copy of it to Colonel House with copies of the cablegrams between General Pershing and me which he has not seen.

P.S. I would only send so much of Colonel House as is pertinent, omitting comments by Mr. Lloyd George Mr Clemenceau &c.
