Text

Joseph T. Tumulty, Esq.,
Secreatary to the President,
Executive Chambers,
Washington, D.C.

Esteemed Sir:

Would you kindly inform me if there would be any objection by the President to distribution of a button bearing his picture under the slogan “WILSON, THE MAN OF THE HOUR”?

This, I believe, would tend to create and stimulate a very desirable sentiment.

If there would be no objection, would you kindly send me a recent photograph of the President from which to make an engraving?

Thanking you for your kindness,

Respectfully,

Evelyn Levine
