Text

My dear Mr. President,

I have your kind note of May 10th and of course yield to your suggestion.

The very competent committee whom you have selected to do the extraordinary work to be done in the War will make weekly meetings of the Executive Committee less important.

It was a great pleasure to see and talk with you and Mrs. Wilson on Saturday.

Sincerely yours

Wm H Taft

The President
