Dear Mr. President

The Argonne Players, a Military Theatrical Organization, made up of soldiers who were formerly connected with theatredom, and who during the two fiercest drives of the war – Chateau-Theierry and the Argonne Forest – gave their performances in the immediate front line positions; now desire to present a special performance of “The Amex Revue of 1918” for the President and his party.

The “Amex Revue of 1918” is the only real All-American production that is original and professional in France. Knowing that the President enjoys a wholesome vaudeville program, we feel that he would be well pleased and entertained by our revue.

One of the finest theatres in Paris is available for this production, and if the President would set a definite date, invitations will be sent to members of the American Peace Commission, and the official representatives of the United States and their Allies.

Trusting, my dear Mr. President, to have a favorable reply at your convenience, I am

Respectfully yours,

Chas K Gordon
Press Representative
