My dear Gertrude
Thursday
Cary seemed to be more worried than sick. But I am not satisfied to go away for the summer till we know more definitely about his trouble—Can I talk to his doctor and exactly who is he.
I was wondering if he did not get well how it would be to take him to Mayo and have them give him exactly the going over they did at Johns Hopkins—He has that temp. every night which shows some infection. Please excuse my butting in but he is very very dear to me and you are too—But I just wont go away & leave him now. Some how I seem to buck him up—
Affly
