Text
Dearest,
Do you ever get a message from the ring? When I had it—(and was not worrying about someone stealing it!) I would look at it every morning and evening and wonder and wonder how it would look on your finger; and if it would please you. And I never looked at it without thinking that, free from flaw as it is, clear, white and brilliant, it is not as pure and beautiful as your own dear heart.
I love you. Good night.
Cary
All Saints Day.
