My dear Doctor
I am extremely anxious to use in my book the information you gave me about President Wilson, and your having come to the conclusion that he should resign, and how he was influenced by Mrs. Wilson to give up this plan, about which you and he had already arranged all the details. I think the public would be keenly interested.
Kindly let me know whether you have any objection to my doing so, and if you have none, ascertain how the President would feel about it.
With kindest regards to Mrs. Grayson and yourself, I am
Sincerely yours,
H Morgenthau
