Text
My dear Admiral Grayson
I am sorry to bother you with such an unimportant and trivial matter at this time. However, we are scheduling your article, “Our Overworked Presidents”, to run in an early number, and I am enclosing a copy of it as prepared for publication, thinking perhaps you would like to read it over and revise it if you considered it necessary because of Mr. Wilson’s death. We have made some revisions in it and I wanted you to have an opportunity to go over it in view of the unfortunate and unexpected death of Mr. Wilson.
As soon as you have the time and the inclination I would like very much to discuss with Mr. Seibold and you the proposed series of articles which I hope you will write. If you do not plan to come to New York I would like to go to Washington to see you.
By way of explanation, I may add we are going to run your article in two instalments.
Very sincerely yours,
John N. Wheeler
