Text
My dear Mr. Mance:
Your letter of April 2d was duly received, and I want to thank you most heartily for your generous interest. As you have doubtless noticed in the press despatches, the President does not contemplate going to Woods Hole this summer. It will, therefore, not be possible for him to take advantage of your very kind offer. He asks me to say to you that he is most appreciative of your thoughtfulness.
Sincerely yours,
Mr. GR Mance
