Honorable Sir
I am happy to note that our beloved President is able to attend to at least some of the most important public business, but I regret however that his recovery has not been more rapid.
I am taking the opportunity of sending you via Parcel Post insured a Radium Treatment Apparatus, consisting of a glass bottle, containing a radium capsule with a cork as shown by the enclosed leaflet. The salient features of this mode of remedy have been underscored in the reading matter. The literature is printed in Italian, which, however I appreciate you can readily have translated.
I call your attention to the fact that this form of treatment has a special merit for the treating ailment, with which I understand our beloved President is suffering.
I trust therefore you will take this under serious consideration and thereafter bring it to the attention of the President.
Respectfully yours,
Paul Gerli
