Dear Mr. President
Newton D. Baker
The President.
Dear Mr. President
Mr. F. A. Scott, Chairman of the War Industries Board, called on me this morning about some of the work of the Board, and incidentally remarked: "Judge Lovett is an enormous addition to the strength of the Board; if something should happen to all the rest of us, we would still have a War Industries Board with him left."
I thought you would be interested to have this evidence of harmony in the Board, and appreciation of Judge Lovett's talents.
Newton D. Baker
The President.
