Eagle to Publish Names of Brooklyn
Men on Casualty Lists from France
The Eagle is the only paper in New York, and probably in the United States that has a roster of the men in its vicinity who are in military service.

This roster will enable The Eagle to render valuable service to Brooklyn parents, in view of the War Department's recent ban on publishing the address and unit of men injured in France. The Eagle will daily compare the War Department's list of casualties with the Brooklyn-Long Island military register maintained in this office and will thus be able to announce if any local men have been injured in action.

Watch The Eagle daily for the only authoritative information on Brooklyn and Long Island injured.

All parents who have not yet sent the names, addresses, units and photographs of their sons to The Eagle should do so at once. Have your sons registered and The Eagle will keep you in touch with their activities. When in Paris have your boys register at The Eagle Bureau, 58 Rue Cambon.

There are now nearly 50,000 Brooklyn and Long Island men in the United States service. The Eagle is the only paper that can tell you their names.
