Expenses of deputy marshals making arrests as sus-pects and of persons violating the President's Proclamation, no process being issued, and in-cluding expenses of special deputies who areserving without compensation, which may be in-curred by them as special deputies................ $100,000.
Cost of guarding and otherwise caring for seized vessels, when and to such extent as the samecannot be paid from regular appropriations...........$25,000.
Expenses of guarding United States penitentiaries where seized Germans are confined................ $10,000.
Special clerical assistance and provision for traveling expenses of district attorneys in cases where the necessity arises from extra-ordinary and unusual business connected with the war........................................ $5,000.
