Text
Dear Mr. President
I write to acknowledge with most sincere thanks your very generous gift of five hundred dollars to the American Red Cross under date of April 16. To have this gift come just now is most timely; not only in itself is it exceedingly useful, but we are much pleased to have such a substantial evidence of interest and confidence from our President in the work which we are so actively carrying on.
Eliot Wadsworth
Acting Chairman.

With most sincere thanks, believe me,
Cordially yours,Eliot Wadsworth
Acting Chairman.
