Text

My darling

I enclose check for $25.00. Your dear letter came yesterday. I am sorry to have neglected sending your money before. You should have written for it sooner. Your father came yesterday. He had a pleasant trip and was immensely refreshed and rested mentally by it. He goes again today to New York to the annual meeting of the Carnegie Foundation. Returns on Thursday. With haste & devoted love from us both

Your ever fond,
Mother
