Text

My dear Heath:

It was very refreshing and delightful to get your letter of October 16th. I am here at home for a few days now, because of having sworn off until Mr. Roosevelt is fighting again for himself, and have a chance to see my mail at last.

It is delightful to hear that the little daughter and the mother are getting on so splendidly, and I am deeply your debtor, my dear fellow, for what you are doing in my own behalf.

In haste

Affectionately yours,
Woodrow Wilson
