Text

My dear President Wilson

I arrived home yesterday afternoon; with a complete draft of my main report. With the exhibits it is so voluminous that with such secretarial assistance as I can obtain in Princeton it is a rather formidable task to make a fair copy of the whole. It occurred to me that even then you might desire to have it put in print for your convenient examination, and that perhaps time might be saved and expense avoided if I were to go to Washington and get the use of facilities you might be able to provide for me. The report as it stands consists of typewritten sheets with corrections and is good enough copy for the printer. I could revise the proofs.
As I wrote to you from London I shall have a supplemental report to submit, but it will be brief and it will not take me long to prepare it as soon as I get the bulky main report out of the way.

Awaiting your instructions, I am,
Faithfully yours
Henry J. Ford

The Hon. Woodrow Wilson
