Thank you sincerely for your letter of May 23d. I congratulate you heartily on your taking over the Weekly. It is especially pleasing to me that you have secured Mr. Hapgood to take charge.
I cannot tell you how much it encourages and heartens me to have you say what you do as to the course we are taking. It is, indeed, most gratifying.
