Text
My dear Mr. Mac Farland:
I entertain just the opinion that you do of Governor McCall, but I am afraid it is not going to be practicable to appoint him, as I would like to, to the Peace Commission. You may be sure that this is through no lack of warm appreciation for his splendid qualities. I would trust him entirely.
In haste,
Faithfully yours,
[Woodrow Wilson]
Mr. Grenville S. Mac Farland,
1 Beacon Street, Boston, Mass.
