Text
My dear Mr. President: -
Your kind and frank reply to my letter settles my mind with regard to my duty. I will prepare for the fight and stay upon the firing line. We are all solicitous that your health and strength may continue under the great burdens that are cast upon you, but we look forward with the utmost confidence to the perfect consummation of your great program. Our hearts go with you in your great fight.
Sincerely yours,
Key Pittman
The President,
The White House.
